Our Engagement party at Palate
“We had the most amazing night!!!!! It went way too fast!!!! We had about 100 people and everyone kept commenting on the venue and saying how fantastic it was. Palate was the perfect venue for what we wanted, intimate, relaxed and funky!!!! We had a Photo Booth ‘The Party Pod ‘which was a HUGE hit!
Tom and the staff were accommodating, friendly and very helpful. They looked after Nige and I and our guests and were happy to assist with any requests. They put our presents out the back for us until the morning which was a great help as we didn’t have to stress about them that night! The food was excellent it kept coming out all night and was taken around to all of the guests. It looked and tasted great and people have told us that it was really good. Tom was also very happy to keep our party going later which was great, the music was pumping and we danced the night away!! There was never a queue for the toilets and bar and everyone kept telling us they had the best night!
For anyone looking for an event space for an engagement party or function I would highly recommend Palate. It has a great vibe, fabulous location and as I already mentioned the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating.
Thanks Lana for all your help in making our night so memorable and helping with the organisation as there was no stress involved couldn’t have been any better!!”

“Needed a venue for my Daughters 21st so knowing the Prahran area well I searched for venues online and found Palate! It was everything and more that a they offered on their website so I would highly recommend having a function here. The staff were amazing.. Particularly Tom. Our friends had a really great time, the location was perfect and it has a really great vibe! Lana, the event manager is brilliant and had it all organised for us without any fuss. Thanks to everyone involved for making Jackie’s night so incredible and not only for her as everyone has commented to us how amazing the night was! ”

“We held my brother’s 21st at Palate and would HIGHLY recommend it for any event. Lana the events manager was an absolute pleasure to deal with, giving helpful advice and tailoring the event specifically to our party. The food was great, the bar staff were fun and friendly, security were also fantastic and very polite. The event had a mixture of old and young and everyone had a great time. The staff even decorated the venue for us with decorations we provided saving us hours. Palate is a great size, is beautifully set out and I enjoy going back there for coffee and meals.
